The Way We Work

OPEN SOURCE

We construct all web-based propositions using the 'open source' technologies of Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP, known as LAMP. This technology is extremely robust, extensively used, has a market full of experienced companies and technologists; it is also licence-free, unlike its Microsoft alternatives.
AGILE

The core principle behind the Agile approach is to package activities into small manageable increments. Each increment is worked through a full software development cycle, including planning, requirements analysis, design, coding, unit testing, and acceptance testing. The Agile methodology minimises the overall risk to a project, and allows it to adapt to changes along the way.
THE CLOUD

We utilise the 'cloud computing' services of Amazon EC2 which is the next generation of high-end, high-availability website and application virtual server hosting, on which the new websites will be housed. Included within hosting will be hot standby servers to cater for disaster / recovery situation as well as daily backups of all data held within the website and database application.
