Very few technology professionals or enthusiasts are neutral about QR codes. Even in our team here at Totally, colleagues either love them or hate them. 

A while back it felt like we were being invaded by QR codes from all angles, from bus ads to product packaging to magazines. Their recent decline in ‘visibility’ may be because they are now being used less prevalently or because their presence on a page is no longer unusual and we have become ‘de-sensitized’ to some extent.

Today's consumers are smarter, more empowered, and better connected than ever before. Just a few years ago, mobile technology was still working out its kinks. But now, mobile has rapidly evolved into the next great marketing channel, improving the way we shop online.

And as the market grows, with competitors only a click away, it becomes even more important for businesses to attract and retain mobile users.

The window shopper’s paradise Pinterest announced last week that it will begin rolling out a new site design to its 48million+ users.

While not ground-breaking changes, the redesign aims to make the website faster and improve navigation, making it more intuitive for users.
