It’s been five years since the announcement of HTML5, yet the HTML5 vs. Flash debate continues to rage on among developers.
Proponents of Flash argue that, with over 1 billion users worldwide and 99% of browsers supporting the technology, Flash isn’t going away any time soon and has a much larger audience reach.
HTML5 advocates argue that several of the things Flash fans see as pros are actually major drawbacks – for example, the technology being driven by one company, Adobe, and there being no way for a search engine to properly spider the content.
Earlier this year Totally secured tasked themselves with the challenge of creating a free online teleprompter website. The idea behind this is to help promote UK based manufacturer, Autocue, who were behind some of the earliest Teleprompters during the 1950’s.

Hyperlapses have in recent times become incredibly popular on video sites such as Youtube and, in particular, Vimeo. And with good reason I must say, as when well executed, the results can be quite stunning.
Combining time-lapse techniques and sweeping camera movements, Toronto-based design firm Teehan+Lax has created very cool web tool capable of creating hyperlapse videos with the data from Google’s mapping service.
