Ghurka Welfare Trust Unveils their New Website Designed by Totally

The Gurkha Welfare Trust has today unveiled its new website www.gwt.org.uk, designed and built by the Web Design & Technology specialists, Totally Communications.

Totally has also created the landing page for a new landing page for the charity, to promote and encourage donations for its new Debt of Honour. campaign, backed by Miss Joanna Lumley OBE, Vice Patron of The Gurkha Welfare Trust. The site is at www.debtofhonour.org.

The Gurkha Welfare Trust provides welfare pensions for 10,000 Gurkha veterans who did not serve for long enough to qualify for an army pension, or their widows. The Trust also provides medical and community aid to alleviate hardship and distress among Gurkha ex-servicemen and their families.

Totally was tasked with creating a website that is not only inspirational and informative but also highly responsive and easy to maintain in-house using the Content Management System TotallyCMS. The new website features a video, photo and podcast gallery. The website is also designed to support the Gurkha Welfare Trust central UK and regional fundraising activity; facilitate donations online and Legacies pledges.
