We construct all web-based propositions using the ‘open source’ technology of Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP, known as LAMP. This technology is extremely robust, extensively used, has a market full of experienced companies and technologists (in the unlikely event that the relationship with TC is severed in the future); it is also licence-free, unlike its Microsoft alternatives.
Pelorous, the system that underpins the majority of our web projects is a non-proprietary content management system, and has been made available to the open-source community. As such, as part of any project a full copy of all source code can be supplied, ensuring complete peace of mind and leaving all options open to bring further development and support in-house or to another technology company if required.
